At launch, we’ll be a mechanical contractor first — S-1/S-2 techs, stocked trucks, and a sub-4-hour emergency target. Pulse gives you the service records, photos, and invoice detail behind the work.
Commercial mechanical service
Emergency calls, scheduled maintenance, repairs, and replacement planning from one team.
Preventive maintenance contracts
Scheduled programs for RTUs, chillers, boilers, and splits. Every visit logged in Pulse with photos and notes.
24/7 emergency response
At launch, a licensed tech will answer — not a call center. Target response: under four hours across Fairfield County.
Retrofit & replacement
End-of-life replacements and R-454B transition planning, coordinated with available CT efficiency incentives.
Design-build installation
Mechanical design and installation for fit-outs, additions, and new mixed-use development.
Service records, equipment, and invoices in one place.
Every capability below is labelled with where it actually stands today.
Photo-verified service reports
What you reported, what the technician found, what was done, before-and-after photos, and what needs attention next — sent as a link after the visit.
Equipment register & history
Every unit we service, photographed and recorded from its nameplate: make, model, serial, age, and the full record of what has been done to it.
Invoices you can audit
Line items tied to work orders, technician time on site, and photos. Review from your phone or export to your GL.
Visit status
See when your technician is en route, on site, and finished. Notes and photos are available as the visit is completed.
Recommendations & approvals
Deficiencies found in the field become a written recommendation, then a quote you approve or decline — with the evidence attached to each one.
Refrigerant & compliance records
Refrigerant logs, inspection dates, and warranty records kept together and ready to export. A recordkeeping aid — your licensed technician still signs off.
Requires connected building data Energy, runtime, and uptime analytics need a real source — a BMS, controls, submetering, or utility feed connected to your building. We build them when your building has one, and not before. We won’t put a savings number on a chart we can’t reconstruct from your data.

Run by the building owner who used to pay the invoices
Val spent years on the other side of the invoice — owning and operating multifamily buildings, and hiring, firing, and paying the HVAC contractors who serviced them. He saw the same problems repeatedly: slow response, repeat callbacks, and invoices you can’t verify. Soundview is built around fixing those problems, with licensed field operators and operations software he wrote over a 20-year engineering career. We don’t pretend the owner turns wrenches: our founding operator holds the CT S-1 license and runs the field, while the founder provides the capital, systems, and customer development.
